John is a professional engineer with over 35 years experience in project management and sustainability. He graduated from Western Engineering and started his career in Calgary with Imperial Oil’s upstream production and projects division managing multi-million dollar projects. He returned to Toronto and joined Enbridge where his career transitioned to innovation and energy efficiency.

Oriole Sustainable Solutions was founded in 2021 to pursue John’s desire to design and build sustainable mid-rise buildings that are energy efficient and low-carbon. Focus is on buildings that are cost-effective, high quality and long-lasting.

John is a lifelong learner looking to improve the depth and breadth of expertise and apply best practices to solutions that add real value.
